Marit Harte, otherwise known as Studio hARTe, is a 27-year-old artist working out of the Netherlands. She specializes in neutral toned, intricately worked, uniquely stylized three dimensional paintings. As quoted on her website, “I draw stimulus from the natural world, its fragility and unparalleled strength, from the forces of nature to biomimicry and from climates to cymatics. Constantly driving to evolve from the previous pieces, I seek the unknown and aim to evoke a sense of wonder that extends the imagination. All forces of nature influence the layering process and generate charming little imperfections and color variations. A sense of organic presence that emerges from the lightness and unpredictability of the mixed ingredients is at the core of each piece.”

I personally discovered Marit’s works on Instagram and immediately fell in love with their sophisticated, yet playful nature. I personally could see myself placing one of her works in my home or workspace, given their monochrome nature and the way in which they have been meticulously crafted. Clients collecting her works span from Dubai to Sydney to Stockholm to Los Angeles. Her works span in price, allowing a young or new collector to dabble by purchasing a print (under 200 euros) or for a more advanced or excited buyer to explore her works on canvas (which usually range around 1,000-2,000 euros).
